The last thing we expected to see on the side of the road by Stoneybrook today was this pair of Sandhill Cranes. They obligingly stayed while we drove by three times, with me hanging out the window snapping pictures. :)

The Goldfinches have found the new upside-down Goldfinch feeder and we’ve been enjoying watching them! This guy also stopped for a drink at the birdbath.
