I’m a regular winter visitor to Florida’s lakes and ponds, but I’m one of the harder ducks to find.  Our males have distinctive brown heads, gray backs, black tummies, and a red eye.  Our females are gray with a white eyering.  Central Florida is at the southern end of our wintering range.
