I went out to take my traditional azalea picture of the bushes in our front yard. They are in full bloom right now, and they are so pretty! Then I realized that I’ve been blogging for over five years now, and I think I have a “first azalea of spring” shot from each year. So I tried to mix it up a little. I tried my first in-camera blur, where I focused in on the flower, set a shutter speed of 1 second, and then zoomed out as I hit the shutter button. I tried a bunch of shots, and this was my favorite. I was trying to keep the center flower in good focus while blurring the rest. I probably should have used a tripod, hehe. Maybe next spring!
