This morning we looked out to see Papa Cardinal with Baby C in the bird feeder. The baby was doing the “feed me!” wing flutter and Papa obliged him by depositing nice sunflower kernels right into his mouth.

It looks like Baby C is a little boy (he is starting to molt into his adult plumage, and he has bright red patches starting to show).
